Vazra is an autonomous AI cybersecurity platform that consolidates what an enterprise SOC stack delivers — into one 8 MB Rust agent and one AI brain. Six functional pillars cover the full attack surface, built for US small and mid-sized businesses where compliance is non-optional but a security team is unrealistic.
We are currently raising a $500K pre-seed SAFE to expand the engineering team and accelerate US GTM.
Vazra collapses what enterprises buy as four to six separate tools into a single AI-native product, sold to the market those tools fail: SMBs where the cost of being breached is existential, but the cost of a dedicated security team is impossible.
Dark-web + credential breach detection, secret exposure scanning.
Traffic analysis, anomaly detection, lateral movement, DNS, GeoIP.
Vazra Enforcer — single 8 MB Rust binary, purpose-built for SMB endpoints.
Unified threat intel, AI classification, MITRE ATT&CK heatmap.
Three-tier enforcement: autonomous, human-approved, and human-only.
SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / NIST / PCI / HIPAA auto-assessment + AI gap analysis.
Cheap AI, forced regulatory demand, and the builder-democratisation moment. The window is now — and only now.
Fine-tuned 12B cybersecurity LLMs now run inference on a single $2K GPU. Free-tier inference + owned hardware fallback = $0 effective AI cost at SMB scale.
SOC 2 is a hard prerequisite for B2B SaaS deals. HIPAA, NIST CSF 2.0, EU NIS2, India DPDP all extend security posture from a nice-to-have into a contract requirement.
AI engineering tooling matured enough that a non-engineer founder can ship a production autonomous SOC in ten weeks. Vazra is itself the proof.
Sudhasmita Sahoo is the founder of Vazra. Trained as a sociologist (M.Phil, Utkal University; M.A., University of Hyderabad) and former program manager at SRIJAN, an Indian rural-development NGO focused on livelihoods and women's empowerment, she came to deep tech through caregiving years in Taiwan during which she taught herself the engineering stack.
She started Vazra in October 2025. Ten weeks of build produced six functional pillars, a proprietary 8 MB Rust endpoint agent purpose-built for SMB scale, and an in-house fine-tuned cybersecurity LLM in active retraining.
The thesis: detection has been commoditized — what SMBs cannot afford is the security analyst who decides what to do. Vazra's AI decides; the human stays in charge of the irreversible. Pricing is one-tenth of enterprise tools because the cost structure (one Rust binary + free-tier AI) is one-tenth.
She relocates to Redmond, WA in July 2026 with L2-EAD work authorization to lead US GTM. Engineering team will be based in India for cost efficiency — a deliberate structure (Druva, Cohesity, Postman, Freshworks all run it).
Deep-tech infrastructure pre-seed, not a B2B SaaS revenue raise. Funds an 18-month runway that takes Vazra from one design partner to a US design-partner cohort, commercial launch, and Series A readiness.
