Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vazra platform, including our website, APIs, Vazra Enforcer agents, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Vazra", "we", "us" — refers to Vazra, the company operating the platform
- "Customer", "you" — refers to the individual or organisation using the Service
- "Authorised Assets" — domains, IP ranges, and systems you have verified ownership of during onboarding
- "Autonomous Actions" — security actions taken by Vazra without prior human approval (Tier 1)
- "Organisation" — the entity under which users and assets are grouped
2. Account & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind your organisation to these Terms
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) if your organisation's security policy requires it
- One organisation account per legal entity; multiple user seats are available per plan
3. Free Trial
7-day free trial. All new accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all platform features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
- The trial begins on the date of account creation
- Trial accounts have full access to all 6 pillars and AI capabilities
- Data generated during the trial is retained if you subscribe; otherwise it is deleted 30 days after trial expiry
- One free trial per organisation; creating multiple accounts to extend trial access is prohibited
4. Subscription & Minimum Lock-In
Minimum commitment: 3 months. All paid subscriptions require a minimum commitment of 3 months from the subscription start date. Early cancellation within the 3-month lock-in period does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining months. After the 3-month minimum period, you may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.
4.1 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance unless annual billing is selected
- Annual billing provides a discount equivalent to 2 months free
- Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 60 days' written notice
4.2 Cancellation
- After the 3-month minimum period, you may cancel with 30 days' notice
- Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period
- You may export your data at any time before account termination
- Data is permanently deleted 30 days after account closure
4.3 Refunds
- No refunds are issued for partial months or for cancellation within the 3-month minimum period
- If Vazra fails to meet its SLA commitments, service credits will be issued per the SLA terms
- Annual plans cancelled after the lock-in period are refunded pro-rata for unused full months
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 You agree to:
- Only scan domains, IPs, and systems that you own or have explicit written authorisation to scan
- Verify asset ownership during onboarding through DNS TXT records or other verification methods
- Use the platform for defensive security purposes only
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
5.2 You must NOT:
- Scan or attack assets you do not own or have authorisation for
- Use Vazra for offensive security operations, DDoS attacks, or any illegal activity
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or proprietary algorithms
- Share your account credentials or provide access to unauthorised individuals
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without an enterprise agreement
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
Violation of acceptable use policies will result in immediate account suspension and may result in permanent termination without refund.
6. Autonomous Actions & Liability
Vazra's 3-tier automation model operates as follows:
- Tier 1 (Autonomous): Low-risk actions executed automatically. You authorise these actions by enabling them in your dashboard. You may disable any Tier 1 action at any time.
- Tier 2 (Co-pilot): Medium-risk actions are queued for your explicit approval before execution. Vazra will not execute Tier 2 actions without your consent.
- Tier 3 (Human-only): High-impact scenarios where Vazra provides intelligence and playbooks only. You are fully responsible for all decisions and actions taken at this tier.
Limitation of liability: Vazra is a security intelligence and automation tool. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all threats will be detected or that autonomous actions will prevent all security incidents. You remain ultimately responsible for your organisation's security posture and all final decisions. Vazra's total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Data Ownership
- Your data is yours. All security findings, scan results, reports, and telemetry generated from your assets belong to you
- Vazra retains a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of delivering the Service
- We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve our AI models and threat detection — no individual customer data is ever identifiable in this process
- You may request a full data export at any time in machine-readable format (JSON/CSV)
8. Uptime & SLA
- Vazra targets 99.9% uptime for the platform, excluding scheduled maintenance
- Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance
- Enterprise customers may negotiate custom SLA terms with guaranteed service credits

9. Intellectual Property
The Vazra platform, including our AI engine (Vivaan), detection algorithms, UI design, documentation, and all associated intellectual property, remains the exclusive property of Vazra. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license to use the Service as intended.
10. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, particularly the acceptable use policies
- We may terminate the Service with 90 days' written notice, providing a pro-rata refund for prepaid unused service
- You may terminate by cancelling your subscription subject to the minimum commitment period in Section 4
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Vazra harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or scanning of assets you are not authorised to scan.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vazra is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where injunctive relief is sought.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
